My last exam is June 5th and sometime in between I was trying to fit my move out from university. It was going to be a very tight turn around. The extra few days means I can relax and enjoy my last few days of being able to do things without crutches for a while.
My Cousin Lauren is coming over from New Zealand this June and with the new operation date we are able to fit in a trip around London with our other cousin, Sam. Having not seen each other in 10 years I am sure it will be a day filled with childhood memories, tears and plenty of family in-jokes.
I’ve also managed to squeeze a 4 day adventure to Padstow, Cornwall. I spent many years on holiday in Cornwall so I am sure this trip will also bring up lots of memories. This is an amazing cornish town if any of you are thinking of a weekend break away, be sure to take the ferry across to Rock as well!
Although this delay does mean my recovery might over lap with the beginning of uni, this is a risk I am willing to take.
So here is to the future!
