An important page filled with important website links...
This part of my blog is going to be constantly expanding as I find more fantastic sites filled with DDH relevant information.
Keep your eyes peeled!
I do not own the rights to any of of the information below. These are links to information I suggest reading for those interested in learning more about DDH. No copyright is intended. While I want to become a doctor, I am not there yet, the medical/science information I include I have acquired form research or gained from my own experiences. Any decisions made upon reading this information should be discussed with your consultant or doctor.

My pages...
Steps - A charity with a fantastic advice, they directed me to my current consultant and helped my family hugely throughout all of my treatments.
'We don't talk walking for granted'

One Hip World - I am very new to this site but one that I am using increasing amounts, the only downside is that it is American based. Their ethos is to promote awareness, raise money for research & help families & individuals suffering from DDH.
'Together we can, together we will!'

Happy Hips - An information & community website for young people with hip conditions set up by Hannah Purdy.
Hip Hip Hooray - A site that is very keen in spreading DDH awareness, they post nearly daily, sharing other people's stories, questions & successes. Every step, is a huge step. They focus more on child development but this is very helpful for those starting their DDH journey.
Healthy Hips Australia - No matter where you come from every website can provide you with more helpful information - always do your research!
Discussion groups - There are several pages on Facebook that are run by families who wish to help share information, support & celebrate the little achievements. Like most pages, these are aimed mainly at parents with younger children, but, 'everybody is welcome'.
General helpful pages
Patient.co.uk - This is a website used by many health care professionals to understand conditions & diseases. There are also condition leaflets aimed at those of us who haven't studied medicine. Below is the link to the condition leaflet for DDH.
